Larry Kenneth May, Sr, 64, of Punta Gorda, FL passed away Wednesday February 13, 2013. He was born April 26, 1948 in Punta Gorda, FL to Richard & Hazel May, Sr. Larry, affectionately known as "Boss Hogg" was from a fourth generation commercial fishing family. He spent his life on the local waters chasing mullet.
He is survived by his children, Larry "Fox" May Jr and Jeffrey "Bo" May both of Punta Gorda, FL; sisters, BJ Werner of Arcadia, FL and Gladys Reynolds of Punta Gorda; brother, Richard D. May Jr of Punta Gorda; three grandchildren, Kinsey, Jeffrey and Wesley all of Punta Gorda. He was pre deceased by his sister Wanda in May 1979, his mother Hazel in May 2001 and father Richard Sr in May 2006.
A Memorial Service will be held Sunday February 24, 2013 at the Gilchrist Park Pavilion at 5:30 pm with Pastor Rick McDonald officiating.
