Laura M. Rogers, 96, of Port Charlotte, FL passed away July 25, 2011. She and her husband, the late William Rogers, moved to Punta Gorda from northern Ohio in 1959. They owned and operated several businesses in Charlotte County prior to their retirement in 1983.
She is survived by her son, Ronald (Barbara) Kapela of Punta Gorda; three grandchildren, Michael (Michelle) Kapela of Tucson, AZ; Samantha (Kevin) Jackson of Sacramento, CA and Brad (Kimberly) Kapela of Punta Gorda; five great grandchildren, Candice (Tommy) Olsen, Ashley Kapela, Travis (Trish) Destasio, Anthony and Brandon Kapela; two great great grandchildren, Ryland Destasio and Austin Olsen, all of Tucson, AZ.
A Private Graveside Service will be held for the immediate family at Royal Palm Memorial Gardens in Punta Gorda.
