Lawrence J. Bedosky

Lawrence J Bedosky of Middletown, NY, died unexpectedly on Friday May 11, 2012. Larry was born in Wilkes Barre, PA on January 29, 1938, the son of the late John Bedosky and Mary Jaworski Bedosky. He was predeceased by his sister, Rosemary Bedosky Maresco. Larry is survived by his brother Jack & Rosemary Bedosky of Stamford CT.

Larry served his county in the US Army. He graduated Columbia University with an MBA He worked for Chemprene Inc. as a mechanical engineer, was vice president and part owner. He was loved and respected by all of his co-workers.

He resided in Middletown, NY for 40 years where he was a dedicated and active member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church and enjoyed his volunteer work. He also enjoyed square dancing and was a fantastic cook. His two passions were golf and spending time with his grandchildren.

Larry is survived by his loving wife Donata Colucci Bedosky of 53 years. Larry was the beloved father of Larry Bedosky and his wife, Lisa, David Bedosky and his wife Tammy, and Margaret and her husband Frank Novello. He was the loving grandfather to, Domenique, Nicole, Alex, Marielle, Julia, Nicolas, Dominick and Sophia.

A funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, May 16, 2012, at 9:30a.m., at St. Maximillian Kolbe Catholic Church in Port Charlotte, FL. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made in Larry's name to the American Heart Association. A remembrance mass will be held at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church in Midddletown, NY at a date to be announced. Funeral arrangements by kays-ponger.com.
