

Leetta Mae Parrott, 84, of Punta Gorda, FL passed away November 15, 2010. She was born May 22, 1926 in Pontiac, MI and moved to this area in 1971 from Flint, MI. She was a Lunch Lady at the Charlotte High School from 1971 till 1978, and a homemaker who enjoyed caring for her family. Leetta was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Punta Gorda where she enjoyed singing in the choir. She volunteered for the Charlotte Harbor VFW and was the past president of the Ladies Aux of the Eagles Lodge. She enjoyed traveling.
She is survived by her children, Pam (Mike) Alwin of Punta Gorda, FL and Ronald (Brenda) Criswell of Goodwrich, MI; grandchildren, Kandy, Melanie, Trisha and Larisa; ten great grandchildren, her sister, Betty (Frank) Molina of Drayton Plains, MI and many other loving family and friends. She was pre deceased by her husband, Kenneth in 1991 and her son Butch Criswell in 2007.
A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 pm, Saturday, November 20, 2010 at the First Presbyterian Church of Punta Gorda, 25250 Airport Road, Punta Gorda with the Rev Stephan Mock officiating. Inurnment will be later this month at Royal Palm Memorial Gardens. The family requests donations in memory of Leetta in lieu of flowers be made to the church.
