Leroy H. Heck

LeRoy was born on January 20, 1923 in Rutland, Illinois the son of Jacob Heck and Ella Ott Heck. He was the owner and operator of a dairy and produce farm in Rutland, Illinois most of his life. He was a 3 year champ of Bocce at Heritage Oak in Port Charlotte. He was of the Lutheran Faith and attended New Day Church in Port Charlotte, Florida.

He is survived by his wife, Jean, nee (Stuber) of 17 years of Port Charlotte, Florida. LeRoy and Jean were married in Lake Tahoe, California in 1994. He is also survived by his step children, Jenifer Wise and son in law Donald Wise, June E. Bartlett (Lee) of Los Altos, CA, Brett Wm. Bartlett (Jenny ) of Palm Coast, FL, Matthew R. Bartlett (Karla) of Bogart, GA, Michael A. Bartlett (Susan) of Charlotte, NC., His sister-in-law, Lois Heck of Normal, IL. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Wilma Alhstram Heck, his brother, Emmett Heck.,and his sister, Velda Barth.

Memorial services will be held on Friday, March 18, 2011 at 1:30 P.M. at Heritage Oak Club House.
