Lucille Angela Wilson who was born and raised in Camden, NJ, lived up and down the east coast during her life and travelled the country in planes, trains and RVs, passed away on May 28, 2025 at the age of 84. She joins her husband, Leonard Wilson, daughter, Nancy Plachter and her parents Felicia Lillian and Umberto Bottura in eternal rest.
Lucille graduated from Camden Catholic High School, married, raised 4 children and pursued a career in nursing. She loved to travel and, in retirement, traveled the country with Leonard, living in an RV, and making friends far and wide.
She was a loving sister, mother, grandmother and aunt to her younger brother, 4 children, 7 grandchildren, and countless nieces and nephews.
Lucille is survived by her brother, Robert, children, Joseph, Kathleen and Denise, sons in law, Juan, Alan and Robert and grandchildren, Daniele, William, Jonathon, Brandon, Grace, Ford, and Helen.
A memorial service is planned for this summer in New Jersey. In lieu of flowers, please contribute to the Lucille A. Bottura scholarship fund established at Camden Catholic school to support future nurses.
