She was born on March 7, 1937 in Elwood, Indiana and came to Port Charlotte, Florida from Silver Lake, Indiana in 1975. She had a high school education and worked in a factory until buying a summer Resort, in the winter, she worked for McDonald and then 7 Eleven and her final employment was with Walgreens. Marilyn sold the resort after 3 years and moved to Florida full time in 1978.
She is survived by her 3 daughters, Cindy Toth of Grimsbay, Ontario, Canada, Deena Rojas of Port Charlotte, Florida and Dara Marshall of Punta Gorda, Florida. Her son, Glen Owens of Port Charlotte, Florida. 13 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
