

Mary Carlucci, 90, on May 10, 1930 in Donegal Ireland a we pet was born to a farmer James Meehan and Anna Sheerin, her name was Mary Meehan. She was the oldest of 11. Growing up she went to school, worked on the farm and help raise her brother and sisters. At the age of 19 she packed up her things all alone and toke a boat to America where she found herself in Philadelphia working at Marion Cricket Club as a waitress while attending school to be a cosmetologist.
By 27 years old she met the love of her life, Joesph Carlucci, a Italian boy who grew up in center city Philadelphia. They married and had two children Jimmy Carlucci and Maria Carlucci. They lived a happy life together in Florida park until unfortunately her first born Jimmy was diagnosed with cancer which he later passed away from at 25. Three years later she lost her dear husband.
Mary stayed in PA until she moved down to Port Charlotte, Fl in 1991 to help her daughter Maria and Dean Wright raise there two daughters Eryn and Meighan Wright. She later then became a beyond proud great grandmother to her 2nd favorite Haidyn Harris. Florida is where she lived out the rest of her life as a goofy, flirtatious, joyful, sarcastic woman who loved her “holy water” till the end.
She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph Peter Carlucci; son, James Joseph Carlucci; father, James Meehan and her mother, Anna Meehan (Sheerin); brothers, Peter Meehan (Anne) and John Meehan (Eileen) and sister, Susie Gallaghen (John) (Dec.)
She is survived by her daughter, Maria G. Wright (Carlucci)(John Lynch); ex son-in-law, Dean Wright; grandchildren, Eryn Wright and Meighan Wright; great grandchild, Haidyn Harris; brothers, James Meehan (Bernadette)(Dec.), Kevin Meehan (Margaret)(Dec.), Danny Meehan; sisters, Kathleen Hatton (Lyman), Anne Daly (Tommy)(Dec.),Cabrini McArdle (Harry), Rosabelle Kerrigan (Tommy); many nieces, nephews; great nieces, nephews; a great-great niece and Godchildren.
She was not only a amazing daughter, sister, mother, grandma and great grandma but a all around amazing person to have the opportunity to meet. She left a mark on everyone she met between her funny sense of humor or beautiful crystal blue eyes. She will be beyond missed more then words can explain.
