Mary Frances Carter Decker, 97, of Punta Gorda, FL passed away August 30, 2011. She was born March 15, 1914 in Middlebourne, WV to Judge William H and Frances Carter. Formerly of Fairmont and Parkersburg, WV, she made her home in Punta Gorda for the last thirteen years. She was a member of the P.E.O. Sisterhood, the Junior League and "Morning Gardners" in Fairmont as well as Arts & Letters in Parkersburg. She was of the Methodist faith.
She is survived by her two daughters and their husbands, Beverly Anne and David Doupe and Jane Carter and Roger Dickinson; five grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
A Graveside Memorial Service will be held in Parkersburg, WV at a later date. The family has requested donations in memory of Mary Frances to the Education Loan Fund of the P.E.O Sisterhood. Please visit www.peointernational.org for donation information.
