Visitation from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Monday April 27, 2009 at Lemon Bay Funeral Home, Venice Chapel. Funeral services will be on Tuesday 1:00 p.m. at Colonial Baptist Church, 2400 Taylor Ranch Trail, Venice. Lemon Bay Funeral Home Venice Chapel has been selected to handle the arrangements. Interment will follow at Gulf Pines Memorial Park in Englewood.
Survivors include her daughters Linda Jones of Venice, Laura Hamilton of Highland, Michigan, and Louise Picard of North Port, Florida; her sons, Richard Picard of Royal Oak, Michigan, John Picard of Silverdale, Washington and Dennis Picard of Port Charlotte, Florida; her sisters, Thelma Googe of Philadelphia, Tennessee and Tyleen Settle of Knoxville, Tennessee; her brother, Clayburn Stofel of Naavoo, Alabama.
Grandchildren Jennifer Miller of Port Charlotte, Florida, Jeffrey Langlois of Jupiter, Florida, William Hahn, Jason and Michele Picard all of Michigan, also 3 other grandchilren and one great grandchild, Brooke Miller of Port Charlotte.
