Mary Louise Quick

She was born on August 11, 1922 in Rome, Georgia to Meddie Broach and Minnie Lee Broach. She moved to Largo, Florida in 1948 and then to Punta Gorda, Florida in 1952. She was a nurse at Charlotte Medical Center for many years and helped to start the first little league in Punta Gorda, Florida.

She is survived by her sons, Doug (Gloria) Quick of Largo, Florida and Wayne Quick (Karen Scott) of Punta Gorda, Florida and her sister, Carrie Lee Culpepper; 3 grandchildren, Rob, Troy and Crystal Quick and 4 great grandchildren, Austin, Matthew, Lindsay and Eli Quick and many nieces and nephews also surviving She was preceded in death by her Husband, Galveston B. Quick after 52 years of marriage. her parents, Meddie and Minnie Lee Broach; her brothers, Henry Murchison, James Broach and Gene Broach and her sister, Francis Dill.

Graveside services Monday, August 5, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at Indian Springs Cemetery 9427 Indian Springs Cemetery Road. Punta Gorda, Florida.
