

She was born on April 3, 1920, the daughter of Barbara and Stanley Ergovich. She had 3 brothers who preceded her in death also her son-in-law and her husband, Max
She graduated from a Detroit, Michigan high school, where she was on the Dive Team, after graduation she went to beauty school, then opened her first Salon, called "Mary Dee Salon" and with the help of her now deceased husband, Max they owned several Salons in the Detroit, Oak Park and Southfield area. Then she moved to Fort Lauderdale, Florida. She loved to go on cruises and visit her military family. She and Max visited them in South Carolina, Germany and Colorado Springs. She was a great cook and loved to bake cookies, that being her specialty.
She is survived by her daughter, Barbara "Dee" Bagiardi and step-daughter, Renee (Rube) Goodman from St. Louis, Missouri; her grandsons, Larry (Carolyn) Bagiardi and Frank (Toni) Bagiardi; her great grandchildren, Brittney (Mike) Bletsch, Stephanie Bagiardi, Steven Bagiardi, Matthew Bagiardi and great great grandson, Brody Bletsch. With the birth of Brody she became part of a 5th generation family. She has a niece, Nicole Decker and nephew, Dennis Ergo. Everyone called her "Nanny" and will be missed by all that knew her. She was the Matriarch of the family, teaching all to be responsible, respectable and loving.
There will be a gathering of family and friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Friday, February 6, 2015 at Kays-Ponger & Uselton Funeral Home 2405 Harbor Blvd. Port charlotte, Florida
