Mary H. Wingert, 85, of Venice, FL passed away November 3, 2016. She was born June 19, 1931 in Earlington, KY and moved to this area in 1974 from Greencastle, IN. Locally, she had worked as a legal secretary for the Law Office of Jack Bradford, retiring 20 years ago. She was a loving homemaker who enjoyed caring for her family. Mary had a unique hobby of collecting salt and pepper shakers, which she began collecting at the age of 16. She was predeceased by her husband of 61 years, Dale Wingert, who passed away December 31, 2013
She is survived by her son, Barry Wingert of Venice, FL; grandson, Barry (Stephanie) Wingert of Gainesville, FL and her brother, Finley DeMoss of Venice, FL.
A Graveside Service will be held at 11:00am, Saturday, November 12, 2016 at Venice Memorial Gardens, 1950 Center Rd, Venice, FL 34293. In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider a donation to South Venice Baptist Church, 3167 Englewood Road, Venice, FL 34293.
