Mackie Ford, Sr. - Many knew him as "Uncle Mackie" was born April 26, 1949 in Punta Gorda, Fl and passed away March 6, 2017 in Punta Gorda. He was survived by his wife Lillian Ford, children Mackie Ford Jr, Jennifer Martin, Jeffrey Ford, Betty Wilson, Elsie Whitaker, Darlene Saradio and Cindy Roe, 28 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. He was a hard working family man who adored his family and friends. Many will remember the countless hours spent with him on the Peace River where he enjoyed camping, fishing, and plenty of coffee by the camp fire. Please join the family and friends at Lettuce Lake Park and Boat Ramp located at 8801 SW Reese St. Arcadia FL 34269 on Sunday, March 12 at 2:00 pm for a Celebration of Life.
