MICHAEL FRANCIS CAHILL, 90 of Englewood died August 21, 2010. He was born on July 30, 1920 in Longford, Ireland the oldest of 10 children to John & Ellen Cahill. A former resident of New York where he worked at Bell Telephone for 34 years as a porter linesmen and promoted to management.
Beloved husband of Adelaide of 57 years, loving father of Regina, Ellen, Brian (Mabel), Shawn (Gabrielle); devoted grandfather of Michael, Daniel, Olivia and Riley; dear brother of Eileen Hamilton of New York and brothers, James, Peter and Liam all of Ireland.
Mike was an avid volunteer. A parishioner at St. Raphael's Catholic Church for 27 years and volunteered there for 23 years as an altar server, usher and groundsman. He also volunteered at Englewood Hospital for 13 years and Loveland Center for 10 years. Mike enjoyed gardening, running bingo, crafting walking canes from palm tree branches and helping others. We were blest to have him with us for 90 wonderful years.
