Mildred Barry, 86, of Punta Gorda, FL passed away July 18, 2010. She was born June 3, 1924 in Perth Amboy, NJ and moved to this area in April 1983 from Metuchen, NJ. She was a homemaker who enjoyed caring for her family and was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Punta Gorda. She enjoyed boating and traveling with her husband Jim and was a member of the Isles Yacht Club, the St Andrews South Golf Club and was an Elkette.
She is survived by her children, Deborah Ward of Ellicott City, MD and James Barry Jr of Washington Crossing, PA; grandchildren, James, Susan, Sarah and Jake; great grandchildren, Grace and Jack. She was pre deceased by her husband James Barry Sr in 2008.
A Graveside Service will be held at 10:00 am, Thursday July 22, 2010 at the Royal Palm Memorial Gardens in Punta Gorda.
