

Morris "Moe" Glenn Wentz- Born Detroit, MI, September 14, 1932, Passed September 16, 2011. The 9th of ten children, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Leona, daughter, Madeline, granddaughter, Amy, mother, Edna Whitehead, father, Peter Wentz, one sister and seven brothers. A Marine veteran of the Korean War, he worked in the auto factories of Detroit, before settling in Punta Gorda, where he was the head chef at the Mexican Hacienda. He is survived by his daughter, Jacqueline (Ronnie) Brown of Port Charlotte; sons, Gerald and John Wentz of Michigan; grandchildren: Rebecca (Volney) Cothern of Port Charlotte, April (Monty) Watson of Deerfield Beach, Joshua Frentz of Port Charlotte, Erin (Chris) Broemel of Port Charlotte; great-grandchildren: Booker, Emily, Caitlin, Jack, and Jakob; his sister, Kathy; his many loving friends at Village Place and the birds he always fed. An avid animal lover, Moe asks in lieu of flowers donations be made to aspca.org or to EARS in his name.
