Carmine served in the US Navy Reserve from 1955-1963. He was employed at Pitney Bowes, Inc. and retired in 1995 after 37 years. Carmine was the head coach for the Norwalk Dolfins, a fast-pitch women's softball team. He was also a member of the Norwalk Athletic Association and served as president of the Parents Club at Central Catholic High School.Carmine is survived by the following family members: His wife of 52 years, Delores Musarella Braccia; Sons, Carmine Jr. and his children Christopher and Rachel; Michael and his wife Shari, their children Rebekah and Jessica and grandchild Jackson; his daughter Elizabeth of Conway, MA; his sister Phyllis Reid and husband Doug; brother Nicholas Braccia and wife Elaine. He was predeceased by his parents Nicholas Braccia, Sr. and Rose Marciano Braccia Alicandro
