Nancy Kriss, 86, of Englewood, Florida died September 5, 2007. She was born July 28, 1921 in Lawrence, Massachusetts to Camelo and Marietta Tomaselli Sardo.

She moved to the Englewood area in 1982 from Spotswood, New Jersey. She was a retired Seamstress for the garment industry in New York.

She was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, Rotonda West V.F.W. Auxiliary Post #10476, Gardens of Gulf Cove Little Theater, Chorus and Shuffle Board Club, the Ladies Garment Union of New York and New Jersey. She had a passion for playing Bingo.

She is survived by her daughters, Janette George Reichenbach of Englewood, Florida, Marietta Glenn Ashcraft of Venice, Florida and Susanne Kriss of Monroe Township, New Jersey; 6 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Lemon Bay Funeral Home Englewood Chapel with a V.F.W. Auxiliary service at 3:30 p.m. and funeral services at 4:00 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to TideWell Hospice and Palliative Care, 5955 Rand Blvd., Sarasota, Florida 34238.
