Patti F Maggiore, 72, of Punta Gorda, FL passed away on Monday January 15, 2018 at home. She was born in Ft Myers, FL on March 26, 1945 to Earl and Emily Sue Farr. Patti was a graduate of Emory University and had a distinguished career in education as both teacher and administrator. She enjoyed scuba diving, fishing, boating and had a lifelong passion for reading. Birding was a passion she shared with her husband. She was a loving wife, mother and friend.
Patti is survived by her husband of 39 years, Larry Maggiore of Punta Gorda; three daughters, Suzanne Beavers of Atlanta, GA, Casey (Lisa) Beavers of Lakeland, FL and Jamie (George) Valle of Plantation, FL; two grandchildren, Emelia and Jack and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held 11:00 am, Thursday January 18, 2018 at the Kays-Ponger & Uselton Funeral Home, 635 E Marion Avenue, Punta Gorda, FL. In lieu of flowers, donations should be made to St. Vincent De Paul, 25200 Airport Road, Punta Gorda, Florida 33950.
