Pierre Arnold Magloire was born on July 19, 1934, to the late Dametas Magloire and Olide Julmis Nazaire. His father was a Tailor and his mother was a Merchant. Pierre developed a sense of humor because he was always around people.
Pierre attended L’ecole Professionale De Chata in Haiti until he graduated High School. Directly after High School he went to Culinary school and studied Pastry and became a Pastry Chef. It was no surprise that he would be successful in his profession. He then became a successful business man crafting his skills and served the community at large. Pierre proudly served his country as a soldier in the Haitian Military. Throughout his military career he became a single father.
Pierre Arnold Magloire didn’t meet his beautiful wife on his own, but she was chosen by his late mother. Their story is a fairytale. He leaves to mourn his beloved wife of 59 years, Julienne E. Magloire of Port Charlotte, Florida. In 1966 Pierre Arnold Magloire married the love of his life, Julienne Edmond. Their union was blessed with seven children, plus his previous 2 children; 16 grandchildren and 6 great grand-children.
Pierre accepted Christ in 1974 at a street meeting with his wife and first daughter. Then, attended the First Haitian Baptist Church, de Grand Riviere du Nord, Haiti. A few years later he moved his family to Cap Haitien, Haiti and went to First Haitian Baptist Church, Rue 14 in Haiti until he migrated to the United States. In 1986 after his beloved family joined him in Brooklyn, NY, Pierre became faithful members of Eben-Ezer Haitian Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon until his retirement. In 2001, he relocated to Port Charlotte, Florida where he continues to serve at Eben-Ezer Haitian Baptist Church of Port Charlotte. He then joined Redeemer Haitian Baptist Church along with his wife and children until the Lord called him home.
In 2019 Pierre fell ill and was given 6 months to live. But God had other plans.
Pierre Arnold Magloire loved the Lord and served the body of Christ with gladness. One of his outstanding gifts was serving the body of Christ (in every capacity he could). He gave of his talents, skills, and gifts to service others. His Colgate smile will brighten any room when he walks in and he respects everyone equally.
May your eternal soul rest in the arms of your maker until we meet again!!
