He moved to the Englewood area in 1985 from Waukegan, Illinois. He was a U.S. Army veteran.
Whitey is survived by his wife, Jan Hensen; his son, Scott A. (Lori) Hensen; daughters, Billie Jo Harbison of Englewood and Shelley M. (Ron Negrich) Price of Englewood; grandsons, Nathan A. Mamalis and Nicolas A. Mamalis; granddaughters, Ashli R. Price and Alexis M. Price.
Funeral services will be private. Lemon Bay Funeral Home and Cremation Services is in charge of arrangements.
