1951 – 2009
Richard's life was suddenly cut short on November 25, 2009 at the age of 58. Loved and laughs by his wife, Karen and his dog, Sam Sams who was his best friend. Beloved by his-in-laws, Kay and Jerry, his sister-in-laws, Jude and Cindy, his brother-in-laws, Scott and Ron. He was known as Uncle Dick to his nieces and nephews, Jennifer, John, Stephanie, Daniel, Mandy, Ronnie, Mikey, Jakey and Catcher. He will be greatly missed by his friends.
Richard had been an Electrician for forty years and was employed by Michael J. Looney, Inc.
His family would like to thank all the EMT's that were on the scene that night and all the Emergency Doctors and Nurse's at Englewood Community Hospital and Fawcett Memorial Hospital by all their efforts to save Richard's life.
Richard and Karen will never laugh together again. The memories will live on.
A memorial gathering will be held on, Monday, November 30, 2009 from 6:00 – 7:00 P.M. with a service starting at 6:30 P.M. at the Englewood Chapel of Lemon Bay Funeral Homes.
