He was born July 12, 1928, in Kearny, N.J.
Richard retired in the early 1990s after working for over 30 years as a representative for the Graphic Communications International Union. He settled in Port Charlotte in 1996 after cruising extensively throughout the Caribbean on his boat. Richard loved life and lived his to the fullest.
He is survived by his daughters, Nancy Sneddon of Gainesville, Va., and Lorelei John Clair of Cataula, Ga.; brother, Jack Lucille Sneddon of Port Charlotte; and niece, Suzanne Sneddon of Port Charlotte.
