He was born on February 5, 1926 in Fairview, New Jersey to Ralph
Archibald and Wilma Joneck Archibald. Robert came to Port Charlotte,
Florida from Middleboro, Massachusetts in 1992. He was a veteran of
WW II, US Navy, serving in the Pacific Theatre on the USS Grady, in
the liberation of the Philippines.
He is survived by his wife Evelyn of 62 years of Port Charlotte, Florida;
his daughter Cathy (Raymond) Stieber of Port Charlotte, Florida; a son ,
Steven (Corinne) Archibald of Middleboro, Massachusetts, his brother,
Donald (Hilda) Archibald of Elizabeth Town, Kentucky; 2 sisters, Roberta
(Joseph) Perriotta of Middleboro, Massachusetts, Dorothy (Donald) Sanders
of Englewood, Florida; 3 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
