I have known Bob for many, many years and whenever I saw him he always had a hug & a kiss for me. He always had a smile on his face which ultimately put one on mine. If I ever needed him, all I had to do was call him....he never seemed too busy for me. I can't imagine the pain your feeling but I can tell you mine is excruciating. My heartfelt sympathy to the family during this time of such great loss. My husband Tom and I spent many nights laughing with Bob and Tammy line dancing at the Wild West. I remember Bobs laugh and smile as he joked around with us all. My thoughts will be with the entire family, but especially with RJ. While we never understand why something like this happens, I believe that someday we will and that you must hold onto all the love and memories that made your Dad the very special and kind person he was. Our hearts are broken but we live by Bobby's example and take nothing for granted and cherish every moment with friends and family.

I had the pleasure of meeting Bob about 12 years ago at the Wild West. What a joy he was! He always had a smile on his face and time to chat. Thou I never had the personal pleasure of hearing him play guitar, My husband had nothing but wonderful things to say about his talent. We saw Bob a few weeks ago and he looked as he always did, jeans, shirt with cut off sleeves, his silver rings on various fingers and a bandana handy somewhere on his person. I'm sure we are not the only one's who will remember Bob this way. He will be sorely missed by each and everyone who knew him. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all through this painfull time. The Aruta family is a fine example of what a true loving family should be. We admire the closeness they share.  This is a great loss for them and for us. Mr. & Mrs. Aruta, Your son was recommended to me after the hurricane to help me restore electrical lighting to my home.  What a truly nice and professional person he was.  I would have to leave the house to go to work and I knew I was in good hands.  He would call me at work to tell me the situation and the cost, finish the job and come back the next day for his check that I would tape on my front door.  He must have been to my home 3 or 4 times and then even came to my boss' home upon my recommendation.  I was so upset when I read about Bob.  Please accept my sympathies. To Bob Arutas family and friends: We were loyal customers of Bob's. He worked on our homes and rental properties for four years. Bob was a consumate professional. Always fixed our problems with a smile, always on time and with time to chat and catch up. We considered him a friend. We will miss him greatly and we extend our heartfelt condolences to all who loved him. "He was ONE in a million".

Skip just wants to let you know how sorry he was that he was out of state and so wanted to be there just to offer whatever support and friendship he could.  We were so moved by that service, you may see us there again.  The priest lifted so much grief from all of our hearts.  What a multi-talented guy he is!  No wonder he and your Bobby became quick friends.
Our hearts are all broken for you, our special friends.  It still doesn't seem real, but that service helped us all.  It could not have been more perfect.
