Robert G. Krouze, 84, of Punta Gorda, FL, passed away January 21, 2018. He was born January 26, 1933 in Rhinelander, WI. He moved to the Punta Gorda area in 1992 from Sartell, MN. Before retiring, he was an electrician with St. Regis Paper Company in Rhinelander, WI and later with Champion International Paper Company, Sartell, MN.
Locally, he was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, and an honorary member of the Knights of Columbus. He resided at Windmill Village in Punta Gorda. He was dedicated to his park community and during the aftermath of Hurricane Charley volunteered many hours organizing and helping with the restoration of the park. He had served as both VP and President of Windmill Village Board of Directors.
He is survived by his wife, Jacqueline Price-Krouze of Punta Gorda, FL; sons and daughters: Robert (Tracy) Krouze of Maple Grove, MN, Dawn (Larry) Stevens of Cushing, MN, Michael (Mary Kay) Krouze of Lino Lakes, MN, Lori Krouze of Owatonna, MN, Robert (Dawn) Price of Apache Junction, AZ, Elizabeth (Robert) Saari of Kingman, AZ, Brian (Lisa) Price of Painesville Township, OH, Michael Price of Mentor, OH, and Brenda (Guy) Lyon of Hudson, OH; 15 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister, Joan (Warren) Seeke of North Port, FL and many cousins. He is preceded in death by his parents, Belford and Emily Krouze; a daughter, Victoria Krouze; and his first wife, Beverly (Call) Krouze
