ENGLEWOOD CHAPEL
ROBERT DENNIS SCHMALING, 83 of Englewood Charlotte County died November 12, 2007. He was born on August 13, 1924 in White Plains, New York and came to this area in 1994 from Greenwich, CT. Mr. Schmaling was employed with Craft Memorial Funeral Home in Port Chester, NY. He was a member of the V.F.W. Post #10476 in Rotonda West, FL and was a member of many fraternal and social organizations in Ct. Mr. Schmaling was a Veteran of WWII, serving in the U.S.M.C.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Joan; son, Thomas Karen of Greenwich, CT; daughter, Karen Kenneth Kosinski of Westport, CT; sister, Barbara Parton of Clearwater, FL; six grandchildren and one great grandson. A memorial gathering will be held on Thursday, November 15, 2007 at 12:00 noon at the V.F.W. Post #10476 in Rotonda. You may express your condolences to the family at lemonbayfh.com
