Robert W. Sorensen, 85, of North Port, Florida died Sunday November 28, 2010. Mr. Sorensen was born July 22, 1925 in Chicago, Illinois to Wallace J. and Frances (Reed) Sorensen. He was a retired Engineer with AT&T and moved to North Port in 1987 from Columbus, Ohio. He was a mason, past potentate of Aladdin Temple in Columbus and institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers and a veteran of WWII, serving with the U.S. Navy.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Delores R. Sorensen of North Port; daughter, Pamela Knouff of North Port; sister, Barbara Koopman of Chicago, IL and 1 granddaughter.
