ROBERT D. THOMPSON of Englewood passed away on Monday, November 16, 2015 at Manor Care Health Facility in Venice, FL. He was born in Marion, Ohio on August 6, 1930 to Robert D. Thompson and Verna G. Krebs.
Bob held Indiana membership in the Masonic Lodge. He also enjoyed golfing, fishing, gardening, and playing bridge.
He is survived by his wife, Ursula; children, Kathy Rudolph, Bob Thompson, and Holly Bishop; grandsons, Clint, Ben and Brian Rudolph; two great granddaughters; step children, Pam Erwin and Greg Martin; four step-grandchildren, Sean and Joshua Erwin and Bridget and Kaitlyn Martin.
A memorial gathering will be held on Sunday, December 27, 2015 from 2-4 pm at Lemon Bay Funeral Home in Englewood.
