Rodney Gray Hendrickson 62, of Punta Gorda, Fl passed away on Wednesday March 11, 2015 at Tidewell Hospice. He was born on December 26, 1952 to Virginia Dewey Hendrickson and Edward G. Hendrickson Jr. He was a lifelong resident of Punta Gorda and 4th generation commercial fisherman. He loved spending his time on the water crabbing, shrimping, mullet fishing as well as recreational diving and sporting. He was an avid hunter and great marksman. He devoted 10 years to the Englewood Fire Department helping others and enjoying the comradery of his fellow co-workers. Rodney is survived by his loving wife Patti, his two children Josh (Turia) Hendrickson and Danielle (Travis) Richardson, 4 step-daughters Heather, Wendy, Nicole and Michelle, 13 grandchildren his siblings Buz (Cheryl) Hendrickson, Kim (Phil) Owens and Jan (Terry) Norton, 7 nieces and nephews Michelle, Stephanie, Kris, Jamie, Shane, Katie and Brian, many amazing cousins and extended family and friends.
