
Roger Allyn Stillman 71 died July 1, 2009 in Sarasota, FL after a brief illness. Born Medford, MA August 18, 1937 to Allyn B. and Dorothea Deignan Stillman. He was a member of the Medford High School class of 1955. He attended Umass, Boston University and Northeastern University. He served in the US Army at Ft. Devens, MA. His career in IT included time at IBM, Honeywell, Beede Electrical Instrument and Fonda Royal Lace. He began a new career in real estate in 1986 after moving to Florida. He eventually owned and operated Suncoast Buyers Realty in Englewood. He served as president of the Englewood Area Board of Realtors. He was a Freemason, Shriner and Elk. He was largely responsible for founding the Winchester Youth Soccer program in Winchester, MA. He was very involved in coaching youth baseball and hockey. He was an avid fan of New England sports teams especially his beloved Red Sox and Patriots. He loved fishing and golf and spending time with his grandchildren on the water. He was predeceased by his wife of 48 years, Sandy. Survivors include son, Allyn and his wife Dee of Portsmouth, NH, son Scott and his wife Bonnie of Fairfax, VT, daughter Heidi Yetton and husband Marc Daniels of Clarksville, TN and daughter Heather Hayden and husband Peter of Concord, NH. Grandchildren include Melissa and Matthew Yetton, Bobby, Jennie, Mark and Ally Stillman, Caitlin and Cameron Hayden, Addison and Lucy Stillman, Ian Daniels, and great granddaughter Aubree Ryder. Roger also leaves behind his friend and companion, Jane Morin of Rotonda, FL. A memorial service will take place later this summer in Naples, ME where his ashes will be buried next to those of his wife and parents.
