Roy Mitchell Perry, 68 of Swannanoa, North Carolina and Englewood, Florida passed away suddenly at his North Carolina home on Sunday, September 11, 2016. Roy was born in Lansing, Michigan to Henry and Lillian Perry on June 30th, 1948.
Roy was a gifted craftsman and will leave behind many things that he has touched. He will be greatly missed by his wife of 35 years, Joyce Blue Perry: sons Roy Jr and Jill Perry, Jim and Gaby Redmann, John and Kristine Redman; daughter Joy and Arron Voigt; brother Lynn Perry, predeceased by siblings Robert Perry and Mannon Church; and 11 grandkids and numerous other extended family members.
A celebration of Roy’s life will be held at Living Hope Church on September 17, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. The service will be held at 881 S. River Road, Englewood, Florida and doors will be opened at 9:30 a.m. for a viewing. He will be laid to rest in Gulf Pines Memorial Park in Englewood, Florida.
