Tuesday, January 3, 2012. Ruth Ann, affectionately known as "Grandma Duley,"
was born August 23, 1937 in Wyandotte, Michigan. During her teen years, she was member of the International Order of the Rainbow for Girls, emphasizing service to the community. A 1955 graduate of Roosevelt High School in Wyandotte, she attended
Eastern Michigan University. After moving to Englewood in 1975, she worked first at United First Federal, then Barnett Bank, for over 25 years. As a teen, she enjoyed skiing and fishing, and after she retired, she enjoyed the beach, golfing, and most of all, being with her family and friends. She was a member of the Englewood United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her brother, Paul McKelvey Jr, of Venice, FL, daughters, Karen Santora of Englewood, Kathleen Meredith of Orlando, and son, Richard Duley of Englewood, Florida, 8 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
