Ryon D. Provencher, 32 of Englewood, died July 12, 2007. He was born May 10, 1975 in Warwick, Rhode Island to Dennis Provencher and Jane Bengtson.
He moved to the Englewood area in 1978 from Rhode Island. He attended Englewood Elementary School, L.A. Ainger Middle School and Lemon Bay High School all of Englewood and he was a graduate of American University in Washington, D.C. where he lived for 10 years before moving back to Englewood in 2004.
He was a member of the Alpha Sigma Phi Fraternity at American University. He worked for the Sarasota County School Board at Englewood Elementary School.
He is survived by his parents, Dennis Provencher of Port Charlotte and his mother Jane Bengtson of Englewood; his brother Korey of New York.
A memorial service will be held at Englewood United Methodist Church on Monday at 1:00 p.m.
