Scott Eugene Howes 73 of North Port Florida passed away on April 17, 2020 at his residence. He was born on October 15, 1946 in Evansville, Indiana to Leonard (Gene) E Howes and Emma C. Howes. Scott was a graduate of Fairmont High School in Kettering, Ohio.
Scott was successful in the door and hardware business for many years, he was well likes and respected by his co-workers. Scott was always reading as well as enjoying his hobbies of making mobiles, fishing, hunting and gun and knife collecting. He was a loving husband, proud father and grandfather. Whether sharing a meal or a special occasion, he loved spending time with family most of all.
He is survived by his wife, Suzanne Howes of 53 years; his children, Eric S. Howes (Milissa), Sarah M. Gray (Larry) and Matthew S. Howes (Jami); 7 grandchildren and 1 great grandson also surviving are his 3 sisters, Saundra Howes (Joe Neri) of Ashville, NC; Joyce Howes of Miamisburg, Ohio; Jo Ann Howes (Gordon Bittle) of Worthington, Ohio. He was preceded in death by his parents, Leonard (Gene) E. Howes and Emma C. Howes.
A Celebration of his life is planned for October of 2020
