Shirley A. Frederick

Shirley A. Frederick, 58, of Punta Gorda, FL was called home on November 11, 2009. She was born June 11, 1951 to Bosie and Florence Pickett in Ocala, FL and was married to the Rev Nathaniel Frederick on March 18, 2004. She taught pre-school at Baker Academy for twenty-two years. Shirley joined St John Baptist Church in 2004.

She leaves to cherish her memory, a devoted husband, Rev Nathaniel Frederick of Punta Gorda, FL; two sons, Calvin Haddock III and Stephen Haddock, both of Punta Gorda, FL; two daughters, Christina Derick Graham of Clarksville, TN and Barbara Virgil Rouse of Punta Gorda, FL; four sisters, Lottie Earl Rembert and Mary Thomas, both of Nocatee, FL; Deloris Clarence Holmes of SC and Deborah John Birden of Dale, TX; two brothers, James and George Clayton, both of Nocatee, FL; eight grandchildren, one aunt, several nieces, nephews and a multitude of sorrowing friends.

The Visitation will be from 1:00 pm till 3:00 pm, Saturday, November 14, 2009 at the St Mark Baptist Church, 402 Dupont Street, Punta Gorda, FL 33950. The Funeral Service will follow at 3:00 pm, Saturday at the church. Burial will be at Royal Palm Memorial Gardens, 10:00 am, Monday November 16, 2009.
