

Formerly of Massachusetts, retired to Englewood, FL. Died January 5, 2017 after a brief illness at the age of 85. Predeceased by her first husband, Larry Henley in 1971 and her second husband, Francis Saltalamacchia in 2009. Beloved sister to the late Russell Ebel and her sisters Lillian Henley, Noreen Wrightman and Elaine Gullet. Sister-in-law to Joseph Saltalamacchia and Lois Saltalamacchia. Survived by step children Francis P. Saltalamacchia, Catherine Saltalamacchia, Eileen Martino, Joanne Frazier and Jeanne Shea as well as many nieces and nephews.
She worked as an administrator to the warden at the Concord Correctional Facility for many years before retiring. She was fun loving, caring, generous and kind. She loved going to the casino, out to eat, having a glass of wine and sharing stories. She loved animals; and, once raised and trained german shepherds. She enjoyed the beauty of plants, flowers especially lilies and birds. She was a bit of a bird whisperer. She loved her "thrift shopping" and her jewelry. The more "bling" the better. Her latest pursuits were football, writing poems and jigsaw puzzle making.
