Stephen Alexander Powell, aged 60, was born in London England to Harry and Mavis Powell later living in Punta Gorda, Florida.
Stephen attended Eglinton Infant and Primary Schools in the UK, Blessed Sacrament Jr. High School in Newark NJ and Rahway HS, Rahway, NJ. Stephen received a Certificate of Completion from Charlotte Vocational-Technical Center in Computer Electronics Technology. Stephen also attended and received technical certificates for Trane and Carrier HVAC products.
Stephen’s enjoyed being at or near the beach where he would fill is days with his main hobby; piloting drones.
Stephen is predeceased by his father, Harry Powell and is survived by his Mother Mavis Powell and siblings Keith Powell and Beverley Harriott and many cousins and nephews.
A memorial service for Stephen will be held on Saturday, April 19th, 2025 at 11am at Kays-Ponger & Uselton Funeral Home located at 2405 Harbor Blvd, Port Charlotte, FL, 33952 with Celebration of Life to follow after the service until 3pm.
