

Mr. Teddy White affectionately known to being a kind, loving, strong, and caring person was born on the 15th day of November 1923. He was the son of John White and Mathilda Walker ( both now deceased) in St. Ann, Jamaica W.I., He went to be with the lord at approximately 5:00AM on the 6th day of March, 2011.
He departed from his beloved Jamaica in about 1923 and migrated to England where he lived and worked and raised his children for many years. He then migrated to the United States of America, where he lived in New York and worked as a chef at the Assembly Rooms in the Rockefeller Center NYC, until he retired and moved to Port Charlotte Fl.
He became an active member of the Seventh Day Church of God Punta Gorda. During his illness he was visited by his minister, family members and friends. He was also happy to share in such spirited visits. The Church extends to his wife, children, grand children, great grand children and family members and friends its heartfelt condolences.
Mr. Teddy White leaves to mourn Pearline White his devoted wife for 65 years, 6 children, 10 grand children, 11 great grand children, 4 brothers, 2 sisters, family members and a host of nieces nephews and friends

A visitation will be held on Tuesday March 15, 2011 from the Kays-Ponger Useelton Funeral Home and Cremation Services 2405 Harbor Boulevard Port Charlotte Fl 33952 from 11:00AM until 2:00PM. A funeral service will be on Wednesday March 16, 2011 at 11:00AM with burial to follow in Royal Palm Cemetery Punta Gorda. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Kays-Ponger Uselton Funeral Home And Cremation Services Port Charlotte Chapel.
