

Teresa M. Dailey, 99, of Port Charlotte, Florida, passed away peacefully at home on September 11th, 2025. She was born December 15th, 1925, in Albany, New York to George and Alice (Pitkin) Bonville. She graduated from Vincentian Institute, Abany, NY in 1943. She also attended the College of St. Rose in Albany, NY. She worked for the New York Telephone Company and later, Sheehy and Cahill Opticians.
She married George R. Dailey Jr. of Albany, NY on December 9th, 1945, at St. Ambrose Catholic Church in Latham. Teresa moved to Port Charlotte, Florida from Clifton Park, NY in 1976. She was co-owner of Pots, Plants, Etc. and was also employed by St. Joseph Hospital until her retirement. Teresa was a member of San Antonio Catholic Church.
Teresa is survived by her son, Kevin (Susan) Dailey of Rexford, NY; daughters Carol Sanders of Altamonte Springs, FL, Kathleen Robbins and Barbara Dailey of Port Charlotte, FL; her grandchildren Richard (Diana) Robbins of Clearwater, FL, Erin (Stuart White) Robbins of Virginia Beach, VA, Samantha Sanders and Courtney (James) Sanders Chiumiento of Casselberry, FL; and her great grandchildren Grace Robbins and Milo Chiumiento. She is also survived by her brother, Lt. Col. (Ret.) George (Marylyn) Bonville of Pinehurst, NC, her sister Carol Nickerson of Bennington, Vermont; her brother-in-law Gordon (Barbara) Dailey of Holland Patent, NY; and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, George R. Dailey Jr. in 1966, her sister, Barbara Bonville Benson in 1977, and brothers-in-law Edward and Gene Dailey.
Teresa will be interred at St. Patrick’s Cemetery in Watervliet, NY.
