THOMAS EUGENE WAUGH, 79 passed away peacefully on March 12, 2016. He was born on June 12, 1936 in Brooklyn, NY and was raised there and came to this area in 2000. He was a parishioner of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Grove and was a member in good standing of the Knights of Columbus council #7672. He served in Korea as PFC in the U.S. Army. He was a volunteer at Englewood Community Hospital for many years.
He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Marie (nee Steves); his children, Eileen (Michael), John (Jodi) and Debbie (Bobby); three sisters; four grandchildren, John, Amanda, Christina and Nicholas and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his daughter, Elizabeth.
He will be remembered by friends and family as a friendly and outgoing Irishman with a bit of blarney about him. He will be greatly missed.
A Memorial mass was held at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church.
