Tommylee Menke, 43, of North Port, FL died April 17, 2007. She was born April 20, 1963 in Dayton, OH and moved to Punta Gorda, FL in 1982 from there. She had been employed as an office manager with Wetherington Restoration & Remodeling Inc, before illness forced her to retire last December. Tommylee was an active volunteer with the March of Dimes.
She is survived by her husband, Matt Moore of North Port, FL; daughter, Nicole Boyd of Pt Charlotte, FL; son, Shaun T. Bridges of North Port, FL; grandson, Colin Boyd of Pt Charlotte, FL; mother, Barbara Menke of Pt Charlotte, FL; brother, Tony Janie Menke of Punta Gorda, FL; great aunt, Mildred Meyer of Punta Gorda, FL; niece Kristina Menke of Pt Charlotte, FL and many friends who loved her. She was pre deceased by her father, Thomas Menke in 2000.
A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 pm Sunday, April 22, 2007 at the Kays-Ponger Funeral Home, 635 E Marion Ave, Punta Gorda, FL with Father Jim Simko officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorial contributions to Tidewell Hospice and Palliative Care, 5955 Rand Blvd., Sarasota, FL 34238.
