Velma Marie Mistretta entered into rest on March 15, 2017 at Tidewell Hospice House in Port Charlotte, Fl. She was born in Breaux Bridge, La. on November 12, 1925 to Minos and Claudia (Patin) Guidry. She was preceded in death by her son Frankie. She is survived by Benny Mistretta her husband of 70 years, and her two daughters, Pat Neely(John), of Punta Gorda, Fl, and Gayle Magnon, of Punta Gorda, Fl, grandchildren, Nicole, Danielle, Greg, Michael and Melissa, great grandchildren, Ella, Camdyn, Alexa, Collin and Charlie. A Memorial Service will be held on Monday March 27th 2017 at 11:30 AM at the Sarasota National Cemetery in Sarasota, FL. Kays-Ponger & Uselton Funeral Home and Cremation Services have been entrusted with arrangements.
