

Vincent Sylvain Muise, 91 of Port Charlotte, FL passed away peacefully at his home March 17, 2026 with his family by his side. He was born in Milton Mass April 6, 1934 to Francis Muise of Nova Scotia Canada and Alice Colcord of Boston, Mass. He lived in Port Charlotte 40 years until his passing.
Vincent attended grade school at the Tucker school, and Milton High school in Milton Mass. He was employed with the Bell Telephone System for many years.
Vincent was a life member of the Thoreau Society as well as many social clubs such as the Moose and Eagles. He was an avid reader and had expert knowledge of the civil war the Wright brothers and many, many other topics. There wasn’t much he did not know about. He loved the warmth of Florida, going to the beach, traveling, cruising, motorcycling, jet skiing, kayaking, collecting toys, watching cartoons, and adventuring anywhere with anyone, anytime. He was up for anything. His sense of humor and wit was unique and he coined many phrases unique to him. His cavalier approach to life was inspirational and never took life to serious. He credited his longevity to not getting to worried about what life threw at him.
Vincent was Preceded by his Mother Alice Colcord, father Francis Muise, his wife Barbara Muldoon, his childhood sweetheart, whom he was married to for 48 years, son Mark Muise of Weymouth Mass., and his sister Virginia (Muise) Mc Master and her husband Richard McMaster of Braintree Mass.
He was survived by his long time Lady friend Bea Fisher of Port Charlotte, His daughters Michele Muise and Frances Muise of Milton Mass, His Son Vincent Muise and his Wife Robin Muise, His son Jon-Michael Muise and his wife Alice Muise of Townshend, VT. Grandchildren Matthew Muise and his wife Stacey Muise of Halifax Mass, Lauren Muise of Hyannis Mass, Karen Muise and Paula Muise of Milton Mass and Grace (Muise) Sheldon and her husband Kyle Sheldon of Greenfield Mass. Great Grand children Hazel Barbara Muise-Sheldon, Evelyn Sheldon, and Gage Sheldon, Reiss Muise and Ada Muise. Nephews Christopher Mc Master, and Leo McMaster. Niece Adrienne Mc Master.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Animal Welfare League of Charlotte County Florida.
There are no services scheduled at this time.
Vincent will be buried in Milton Cemetery in Massachusetts this summer after a Catholic service.
