Bill McCrary, 78, of Rotonda West, FL formerly of Dayton, Ohio. A celebration of Life will be held at Rotonda West Community Church on Saturday, November 13, 2010 at 9:00 a.m. Interment of ashes will be at the Memorial Garden at the Church. Survivors include son Doug McCrary of Fayetteville, NC; daughters Kathy Haycook (Dave) of Irmo, SC; Terry Gordon (Norberto) of Lexington, SC; and, Debby Henson (David) of Rotonda West, FL. Preceded in death by Glenda, wife of 53 years, parents Walter and Thursa. Other survivors include brother, Vic Johnson of Lubbock, TX, and sister Betty Butler of Waynesville, OH. Eight grandchildren: Chad; Mariah; Bridget; Shanna; Daniel; Will; Joe; Chris; seven great-grand children; and other extended family and abundant friends.
Bill had a 34 year career with the Ohio Bell Telephone Company. He was a volunteer firefighter in Kettering, OH Station # 4. He retired with his wife to Florida in 1992.
