He was born on August 25,1919 in Staatsburg, New York to
Charles Waldron and Roseanne Decker Waldron. He came to
Bonita Springs from New York in 1981after retiring from Texaco
after 40 years of service. William was a lifelong member of the Elks,
Masons and a 50 year member of the Midhudson Power Squadron, and
a Veteran of WW II, US Navy.
Survivors include his son, William A. Waldron Jr. ( Jackie) of Harbor
Springs, Michigan; 2 sister in laws, Evelyn Tario of Poughkeepsie,
New York and Martha Osieka of Pinehurst, North Carolina: 2
grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by
his wife, Dorothy, nee (Graham) Waldron, who died in 2005 and his
brother Vincent.
Memorial services will be held at a later date in Poughkeepsie, New
York. Donations in his memory may be made to Hospice of Southwest
