Thank you Anne for welcoming me and my boys to your big, gregarious, kind, and fun loving family.  You never forgot a birthday, you were always so generous, and you were always so kind, feisty and full of love.  I will always have you in my heart and will talk to you often as you smile down at us all with pride at the beautiful legacy you left with us.   Love you Annie.

Annie, Gordon and the boys were our first neighbours when we immigrated from Germany, in Sept. 1974.  Annie noticed I was shy about my English.  “ don’t you worry, come over Thursdays after supper, we will play Darts and speak English”.    That’s how Annie was all her life, always there to help, always so kind. My friendship
with her, Gordon and boys grew over the 51 years. I remember countless get-togethers with all the family and many friends , full of love , fun and laughter. It felt like I was Family.         Annie, I love you and miss you dearly.

Aunt Ann was like another mother as I spent a lot of time at the Buckley household growing up. Mark, Gary and Paul were not only cousins but good friends. She will be missed.

I first met Mrs B when I was five years old.  She was the lunch lady at Lord Selkirk Annex. She was always kind, happy to see you, and genuinely interested in how you were. I have many fond memories of her especially at family gatherings when I was included. She made me feel like part of the family.   

Our sincerest condolences to Mr B,  Mark, Gary, Paul and families. I am so very sorry for you loss and that Wendy and I can’t be there to celebrate her life with you.
