Beverley Edwards

Beverley Edwards (nee Chorlton), known as Mom, Grandma and GG, peacefully departed her loving family on September 19th, 2023.

Beverley born in Vancouver on March 9th,1928 and was the youngest child of three. She grew up in the Kitsilano area, which she loved.

Beverley was mother to Bruce (Mariko), Barb (Jim), and Judy (Doug). She raised her children with love and devotion in Burnaby with her husband Owen. She and Owen would have celebrated their 73rd wedding anniversary on October 3rd this year. Beverley was Grandma to Danielle, Brody (Leanne), Erin (Jeff), Heather (Luke), Lauren (Jake) and Evan. She was also GG to Max, Cash, Scarlett, Finn and Felix.

Beverley was always feisty. First and foremost, she loved her family. Bev enjoyed music and nature. She liked watching sports (especially the Blue Jays and golf) and playing bridge (in fact she played her last game the week before she left us). Going out for a toasted shrimp sandwich at the Whitespot was also a big hit. Bev was a dedicated member of their local Anglican Church Christ the King/St. Timothy for over 60 years. She volunteered for multiple organizations and charities and was also a first class 10 pin bowler, earning many trophies and awards over the years.

Mom, Grandma and GG will be missed but her memory will never leave us.

A Celebration and Thanksgiving for Beverley's Life will be held on Saturday October 21st, 2023, at 2:00 pm at St. Timothy Anglican Church, 4550 Kitchener Street, Burnaby, BC V5C 3M7.
