announce the passing of Cliff Clarke,
a beloved husband, father, grand
father, and great grandfather.
Cliff was born in Saskatchewan to his
parents William and Mable Clarke.
He was one of eight children. The
family moved from Saskatchewan
and initially landed in Vancouver.
The family moved again and finally
settled in Port Coquitlam in 1945. It
was Port Coquitlam where Cliff met
his wife of 65 years, Norma-Jean,
and they raised their five children.
Cliff was most proud of his family.
Cliff had a long career with CP Rail,
and through the years was an active
member of the Royal Canadian
Legion, and enjoyed his involvement
with PoCo Minor Baseball.
He was predeceased by his parents,
William and Mable, sister Beth,
brother Stan, and grandsons
Christopher and Adam.
He is survived by his wife NormaJean, 5 children: Alvin (Heather),
Mickey (Greg), Ken, Brent (Darcy),
and Gary (Tamra), 9 grandchildren:
Jessica, Adrienne (James), Kyle
(Kim), Michael (Carly), Trevor, Kelly
(Nadine), Kelsey, Troy (Elaine), and
Sharlene (Curtis), 11 great
grandchildren, 5 siblings: Lucy, Jug
(Pat), Alice, Cecil (Marg), and Elaine
(Doug) and a great many in-laws,
cousins, nieces, and nephews.
A celebration of Cliffs life will be held
January 31, 2020 at 1:00 PM at
FIRST MEMORIAL FUNERAL
SERVICES BURKEVIEW CHAPEL
located at 1340 Dominion Avenue,
Port Coquitlam BC V3B 8G7. In lieu
